Child Protection Week
Every child deserves to grow up safe. Each year Kingdom Kids participates in Child Protection Week — educating our communities, empowering parents, and reminding every little one that they are valued, protected, and loved.
How We Observe Child Protection Week
Child Protection Week is a national awareness campaign held annually in South Africa. At Kingdom Kids we take it beyond awareness — we take action:
- ✦Age-appropriate classroom sessions teaching children about personal safety and body autonomy
- ✦Parent and caregiver workshops on recognising signs of abuse and how to report them
- ✦Community awareness drives at all three ECD Centres
- ✦Partnerships with local social workers and child welfare organisations
